1033 Program

We actively  support the efforts of all Law Enforcement Agencies through direct and indirect Logistics Support. As such, we provide special pricing for components and repairs for equipment obtained by Law Enforcement Agencies through the 1033 Program and  the 1122 Program.

The 1033 Program permits the Secretary of Defense to transfer, without charge, excess U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) personal property (supplies and equipment) to State and local law enforcement agencies (LEAs).  For California:  1033  LESO now CalEMA

The 1122 Program is the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 1994 contained Section 1122, which allows State and local governments to purchase new law enforcement for counter drug activities through the Federal Government. The discounts the Federal Government enjoys because of its large-volume purchases are passed on to State and local law enforcement agencies. These discounts may be particularly attractive when dealing with high tech equipment and newer technologies.  For California:  CalEMA 1122 Program Link.

What is needed most when utilizing the 1033 Program are the NSN numbers  when submitting your requests to your local LESO.  To find your local LESO click on this link to find a listing of LESOs by State:  Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO)

The NSN or National Stock Number is used to identify  equipment and parts that you are interested in obtain through the 1033 Program.  The NSN is used by your LESO to do a DRMO Property Search.  Remember to have them search overseas as well as in the CONUS.  Click on the "NSN" button  to the left for a listing of useful NSNs.

Grant Support and Resources

Grants are an excellent resource to help fund new equipment for Law Enforcement  agencies that otherwise could not due to budgetary constraints.  Grants take a lot of time and effort to research, locate, request, and execute.  Below are some links to help the process.
