These parts are tested during the assembly for proper mechnical and electrical operation. Such tests include free
movement of the gain control as shown here and end to end rotation without any binding or grinding of the objective and eyepiece lenses as seen below. |

As the major parts are inspected and tested, their serial numbers are annotated on the AN/PVS-14A Buildup WorkSheet for future reference and any warranty issues. Critical
tasked are identified here so that no key procedure is overlooked. Objective and subjective testing is also annotated here to provide the Customer with performance information, as shown below. |

tube characteristics needed for a specific night vision operation is also provided, such as high Halo value for AutoGated Image Intensifiers for weapons mounted application. |

We also specialize in supplying out Customers with mission critical adapters and accessories, such as the Custom head mount
shown below. This head mount uses a modified L-3 head harness with the Wilcox Industries adapter mount. The modification is needed to enable the reed switch in the adapter mount to actuate when brought close
to the L-3 headmount's attachment point. |
